Day 1 Lucerne
/ Luzern Arrive swiss airport or border. Buy a Swiss Card on line
or at the airport train station.
Travel to Lucerne by train. Seat reservation is not necessary. (sbb
timetable). Book a Lucerne Hotel through this link: switzerlandhotels.ch
Arrive Lucerne and transfer to your hotel on your own (Taxi, walking or public
bus). Day
2 Lucerne / Luzern This morning you will visit Mount Pilatus.
Take bus No 1 to Kriens station Linde. From there you walk up hill, pass
a little church, keep up hill and after ten minutes you reach the Pilatus Mountain
railway station. Buy a ticket at 50 % reduction (Swiss Card), or 25 % (Swiss
Pass). Travel by Cable Car up to Pilatus Kulm. Enjoy a wonderful panorama of Central
Switzerland. You may want to go for a walk on the marked routes. Take your way
down to Alpnach with the steepest mountain railway of the world! From Alpnach
to Lucerne you travel by boat on Lake Lucerne. Find the schedule on this

Afterwards you may consider visiting the Rosengart
Collection or the Swiss
Traffic Museum or have a tour of Lucerne on your own. Day
3 Interlaken Travel from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost by Golden Pass Panoramic
train. Seat Reservation for the 1st class Panoramic Waggon is a must. For standard
2nd class travel Seat Reservation is not mandatory but recommend during high season.

Arrive Interlaken
Ost and find your way to your hotel. In the afternoon you may want to go
on an Excursion to see the Trümmelbach
Falls or visit the Mystery
Park. Day
4 Interlaken Full day Jungfrau
- Top of Europe and Grindelwald. Cost savers will choose the good
morning ticket to reach Jungfraujoch. This ticket is only available for the
train departing Interlaken Ost at: 06:35 and 07:35. Take the railway and
rack railway from Interlaken Ost to Jungfraujoch via Grindelwald. Arriving at
Jungfraujoch you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the alps and you will understand
why the Aletsch Glacier has been declared an UNESCO World Heritage. Hikers among
you will hike down from Kleine Scheidegg to Grindelwald. After a stop in Grindelwald
you continue by rail down the valley to Interlaken. Day
5 Departure Train transfer Interlaken Ost - Airport or swiss border.
